Hand Scanner, Biometric hand clocking

 
The user keys in their employee number and places their hand onto the scanner and it is compared against a previously enrolled template. The green light and red lights indicate the status of the read and confirmation appears on the display. The Hand Scanner copes with fluctuations and changes on the topography of the hand through weight gain and loss.
